We’ll begin with a virtual or in-person consultation where we assess your wardrobe and pull together 3 complete looks that feel comfortable, flattering, and aligned with the image you want to project. We'll talk through your goals for the shoot, where and how you plan to use your headshots, and what kind of setting will suit you best.

I’m not a studio photographer—I shoot exclusively in natural light, as I believe that’s where people look their best. We'll choose one or two outdoor locations together. That might be a park, the beach, a charming street, or perhaps one of my signature picks: a striking mural locally (or well-known spots in Salem, MA; Ogunquit, ME; Portland, ME; etc.) that brings color, style, and energy to your shots.

We’ll meet on location, and I’ll guide you through the shoot in a relaxed, low-pressure way. No stiff poses or awkward smiles—just good light, good conversation, and a couple of outfit changes so you have options. I’ll direct you gently to ensure we get natural, flattering images. (Oh, and if you have a dog, you should bring your dog.)

I’ll select the strongest images from the shoot and edit them for light, color, and clarity—but no over-filtering or unrealistic retouching. Within a week, you’ll receive a downloadable online gallery of 10–15 high-resolution images, suitable for everything from your personal website to your favorite social platforms.
