Textiles are often the unsung heroes of a well-designed space—they bring warmth and personality while tying everything together. This service zeroes in on the fabrics in your home, from pillows and throws to bedding and drapes.
Drawing on my years of experience covering art and design shows around the world, as well as working with interior designers during my time in both magazine and book publishing, I’ll help you combine colors, patterns, and textures in beautiful (and sometimes unexpected!) ways.
Whether it’s a new look for your bedroom, a more inviting living room, or an update that takes your home beyond beige basics, I’ll help you make thoughtful choices that elevate your space. This is not a decorating service for minimalists! It’s for those who want their interiors to feel expressive, textured, and full of character.
WHAT’S INCLUDED

We’ll begin with a Zoom or FaceTime call to discuss your goals, needs, and design preferences when it comes to textiles. This conversation is a chance for me to get to know you, your space, your budget, and the scope of the project, and for you to share any inspiration or specific design concerns—for example, perhaps you have pets, so things need to be washable! (Trust me, I get it.)

Together, we’ll look closely at your room or rooms, discussing color palettes, layering opportunities, and ways to mix patterns and textures. I’ll bring along initial textile ideas—such as swatches or photos—to help spark direction.

Based on our conversation, I’ll create a tailored plan outlining specific recommendations for pillows, bedding, throws, rugs, or drapery. This will include sourcing suggestions with links to shop directly, giving you flexibility to purchase items at your own pace.

If you’d like hands-on help, I can return for an installation session to arrange the textiles in your home. This step ensures everything is styled to feel layered, cohesive, and true to the look we envisioned together.

$125 Hourly rate for textile consulting, recommendations, and styling. Total hours will vary depending on the number of rooms and whether you’d like me to style everything.
