PLOT TWIST
styling session
This wardrobe styling service is designed specifically for women in perimenopause and menopause who are ready to reassess, regroup, and rebuild with intention. Together, we’ll take stock of what you have, what you actually wear, and what you truly need. We’ll talk honestly about how your body feels now, how your style has evolved, and how to make getting dressed easier—and more enjoyable.
This is personal. I hit perimenopause and felt like a stranger in my own closet—nothing fit right, nothing felt right. Who bought all this nonstretch denim? I learned to embrace the shift, through volume that still flatters, breathable fabrics that feel good, and a cult-like devotion to the elastic waist.
You don’t have to chase trends to look pulled together. You just need a few pieces that fit beautifully, function effortlessly, and reflect who you are now.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
-
We’ll start with a chat via Zoom or FaceTime, which will help me understand your wardrobe needs. Next, I’ll send a questionnaire, and your responses will further help me understand your styling needs, lifestyle, and budget before we meet in person for your first appointment.
-
Next, we’ll assess your wardrobe and pull together 3 complete looks that feel authentic, flattering, and aligned with the image you want to project. Then, once we have that foundation, we’ll talk through your goals for building your wardrobe and agree on a shopping destination.
-
For our shopping session, we’ll meet at a pre-selected location, like MarketStreet Lynnfield, downtown Boston, Kennebunkport, or downtown Portland. (If possible, depending on distance, I’ll head over an hour early to visit shops and pull together some pieces I think you’ll love.) We’ll visit a handful of shops and I’ll be by your side to offer honest advice and styling tips. I’ll snap photos of your new finds and send you a recap and a custom virtual lookbook to keep everything organized.
-
As the last step in this styling service, you’ll receive a digital lookbook, featuring 10 styled looks using the pieces you purchased along with links to additional items you can purchase online. This is an easy way to flesh out your wardrobe based on your needs, and reference outfit ideas any time you need to. If you need additional help styling a particular piece, simply email me and I will add a few more ideas to the lookbook.
You’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s. Maybe your body has changed. Maybe your life has, too. And if your closet hasn’t kept up through all of that, you’re not alone. Want to chat about what’s happening with your closet at this stage? I'm always happy to answer questions before booking.
